Immune Defense

Immune testing and supportive therapy program at Upper Room Clinic Toronto for chronic infections, autoimmune, post-COVID, and immune-dysfunction patients — Mega-C, glutathione, vitamin C IVs, and chronic-infection protocols.

Program Based Memberships

The Immune Defense Program is built for patients whose immune systems are dysregulated — chronic infections that won't fully clear, autoimmune flares, post-infection fatigue (including long COVID), or immune-related skin and gut conditions. The program tests, supports, and modulates immune function across multiple integrative therapies.

What we mean by “immune dysfunction”

Immune dysfunction is not a single diagnosis. Some patients are immunocompromised — too little response to threats, with chronic infections or slow recovery. Others have over-active immunity — autoimmune conditions, mast-cell activation, persistent inflammation. Many patients have BOTH happening in different domains. Effective care starts with proper testing, not a one-size-fits-all “immune boost” protocol.

What's in the program

  • Comprehensive immune testing — CBC with differential, immunoglobulins, T-cell and B-cell panels, viral panels (EBV, CMV, HSV, HHV-6 as indicated), inflammation markers, autoimmune screens, and gut microbiome assessment
  • Mega-C Anti-Viral IV — high-dose vitamin C infusion for active or recovering viral conditions
  • High-Dose Vitamin C IV Therapy — extended therapeutic protocols
  • Glutathione and antioxidant IV support — for oxidative-stress reduction
  • Chronic Infection Support protocols — Lyme, mold, post-COVID, and post-viral syndromes
  • Targeted oral support — micronutrients, herbal antimicrobials, and immunomodulators where appropriate
  • Lifestyle review — stress, sleep, gut, and nutrition foundations of immune function
  • Re-testing at protocol milestones

Who this is for

  • Patients with chronic or recurrent infections (chronic Lyme, EBV reactivation, recurrent UTIs, sinus, etc.)
  • Long COVID, post-viral fatigue, and post-infection syndromes
  • Autoimmune patients seeking integrative adjuncts to specialist care
  • Patients with frequent illness, slow recovery, or chronic inflammation
  • Pre/post-surgery patients optimizing immune resilience

Who shouldn't enroll

Active malignancy under oncologic care, severe immunosuppression with infection risk, certain autoimmune flares requiring rheumatology-led management, and pregnancy require careful coordination. We work alongside, not instead of, your specialist team.

What to expect

Consultation, baseline testing (2–3 weeks), then 12–24 weeks of integrative therapy and lifestyle support, with re-testing to confirm progress. Most patients see meaningful change within 6–12 weeks; complex chronic infections often require longer arcs.
