The Detoxification Program at Upper Room Clinic is a structured, multi-month integrative protocol for patients carrying environmental, metabolic, or heavy-metal toxic burden. Rather than running a single detox IV in isolation, the program combines diagnostic testing, sequenced therapies, lifestyle support, and follow-up testing into one care arc.
Modern environments expose us to a continuous baseline of toxins — heavy metals, plastics and endocrine disruptors, mycotoxins, persistent organic pollutants, and the metabolic byproducts of stress and disease. Most healthy bodies clear these efficiently. But over time, in some patients, the load exceeds the body's capacity. Symptoms range widely: fatigue, brain fog, hormone disruption, immune challenges, skin issues, and chronic inflammation.
Detoxification is not a fad cleanse. Real medical detoxification is a phased process the liver, kidneys, gut, lymph, and skin already perform — and our role is to test, support, and accelerate it where appropriate.
A typical Detoxification Program runs 8–16 weeks and includes:
Active acute illness, severe kidney impairment, pregnancy, certain cardiac conditions, and active malignancy under chemotherapy require evaluation. Some chelation agents have specific contraindications. We screen carefully at intake.
Initial consultation, baseline testing (1–2 weeks), then 8–16 weeks of sequenced therapy with regular check-ins. Most patients see meaningful change in symptoms by mid-program; full toxic-load reduction often requires repeat program cycles.
